Carol Watts – Occasionals

I quite enjoyed this short collection of poetry, but then it was published by Reality Street and I’m a fan of their work – in fact, I used to be a supporter, and my name is actually listed in this book because of it. You pay a certain amount of money per year and get sent their new releases.

This book was written over a period of 12 months and uses dates as a device.

Maggie O'Sullican - Waterfalls

Maggie O’Sullican – Waterfalls

Waterfalls is a collection of the work by Lincolnshire-based poet Maggie O’Sullivan, and yet another genre-defying book from HastingsReality Street poetry press. What’s of note here is the way in which the poetry is so inherently visual, with the layout fluctuation throughout to accentuate Maggie’s words.

It’s a bit different to most of the other stuff on the market, and that’s a good thing. Worth reading!
