This book is one of those that I’ve heard a lot of good things about and I’m not really sure why. If it had been written by anyone except for Tim Burton, it would have passed by unnoticed.

It’s fine, I guess. Some quirky poems with illustrations to go with them in a way that feels very Burton, which might be part of my problem. I’ve never really liked his stuff, and this book is a pretty good example of why.
