Title: The Trial of Oscar Wilde
Author: Richard Ellmann
Type: Non-Fiction
Page Count/Review Word Count: 94
Rating: 4/5
This was a fascinating non-fiction account of what happened at Oscar Wilde’s trial, and while I thought that I knew roughly what had happened, there was plenty here that I didn’t know about.
It’s also an excerpt from a longer book and so I should probably pick that up at some point. Ellmann is a talented researcher and writer and he made the complexities of law more approachable.
