Title: The Scream of the Haunted Mask
Author: R. L. Stine
Page Count/Review Word Count: 150
Perhaps it’s just the fact that I came to this as an adult and not as a kid, but I didn’t think this quite had the same magic that the original Haunted Mask book had. That’s not to say that it isn’t pretty good, it’s just it’s different.
Still, I did quite like that there was a character called Sabrina in it because that reminded me of my friend, and I also liked the short that was at the end and which took place in HorrorLand. That left me glad that this book exists and happy that I picked it up from a charity shop, but I can’t pretend that it was mind-blowing. It was just all right, and that’s fine.
