Samuel Taylor Coleridge – The Rime of the Ancient Mariner
Coleridge was a talented poet, a man among men at the turn of the 19th century when the only other poet on the scene was a certain William Wordsworth. The rhyming poetry here is strong enough, but not my kind of thing.
