Everyone was laughing at me when they found out I was reading this, because it looks and feels like a car manual. Nevertheless, you can’t knock it too much because it’s jam-packed with all of the information that you’ll need if you’re adopting a cat. I’ve recently adopted an eighteen-month-old cat myself, and I found it useful for giving me an insight into the way that its mind works. I would’ve liked to have known more about how to stop a cat yowling in the middle of the night, though – but once we chop his balls off, he’ll hopefully be better.
If you’re anything like me, you’ll find that you’re already doing a lot of the stuff that Bessant recommends. But that’s a good thing!
