There’s potential here, but erotica is hard to get right and something as basic as terminology can ruin it. Like here, when she constantly refers to genitals as “his/her sex”. That alone stopped me from enjoying it.

I got myself a signed copy of Poetica at the Second City Signingserotic poetry, what’s not to love? I don’t really read much erotica, but I was pleasantly surprised with the poems – they were in free verse, which is good because I hate traditional, rhyming poetry.

However, I also spotted a couple of typos, and the author used the word ‘nub‘ way too many times – possibly the least sexy word I’ve ever heard. But for what it was, it was worth the money I paid for it – you decide.
