Rating: 4/5

This is one of Shakespeare’s earlier plays and it’s surprisingly bleak, with one woman getting gang-raped and having her tongue and hands cut off. I mean, it’s still a cracking play and it held my attention from start to finish, but it was also pretty dark, too. Definite trigger warnings going into it, although if you read a Shakespeare tragedy then you’re not expecting sunshine and rainbows. I’d definitely recommend it to people though, for sure.
