This is the latest In a line of Shakespeare plays that I’ve been reading in the stunning Folio Society editions, and yet again I went in blind and knew nothing. That worked for me.
It’s basically a play about money with a whole bunch of fun philosophical stuff thrown in alongside some cracking one-liners. It’s the stuff Shakespeare does best but in a lesser known play that holds up well.
