This was a pretty cool cookbook, although it wasn’t perfect. One of the strange things about it is that all of the recipes are in alphabetical order and so flicking through it is an unusual experience. That also means that you can flick through it and dip in and out of it at will though, so it has some benefits.
The photographs were great as well, and they helped a lot when it came to making and plating the dishes. I’ve read cookbooks before where they just describe it, and while that’s better than nothing, I feel like I need to see what the end product is supposed to look like if I want to cook it properly.
All in all, if you’re looking for simple vegan recipes that you can cook at home without a huge amount of culinary expertise, perhaps this is the book for you. I can certainly promise that there’s plenty here for you to enjoy, and your taste buds will thank you for the experience. And better still, the recipes are so simple that it’s difficult to go wrong. Enjoy!
