Disclaimer: While I aim to be unbiased, I received a copy of this for free to review.

There are a whole host of self-improvement books out there on the market, but this is definitely one of the better ones – Efron’s book stems not from theory but from personal experience, and what’s worked for him is sure to work for you too.

The concepts Louis shares are simple but effective, and he suggests that most people who get stuck in a rut are stuck there because they lack the motivation and self-belief that’s needed to get them out of it.

Efron also provides a set of exercises to complete at the end of each chapter, but as the chapters are so short it would actually take you a couple of months if you were to work through it all at the rate of a chapter a day – that said, that’s precisely what you’ll need to do if you want to turn your life around, because there aren’t any shortcuts.

Personally, I already have a job and career that I love, although life tends to fluctuate between good and bad – I suspect that’s the case for most people. But if I ever need a change, I’ll start here.
