This book is one of the Quick Reads books that are designed to encourage people to spend more time reading, especially when they’re not regular readers themselves.
In it, Roy Grace heads off on vacation, only to find that an old enemy of his has decided to track him down. I’d actually argue that talking about that takes us into spoiler territory, but that’s covered in the blurb of the book.
It’s short and sweet, a quick tale that lacks the depth of the other Roy Grace books and which feels as though it was cobbled together quickly and almost formulaically to meet a deadline for the Quick Reads project. But still, it’s fine.
