I won this book – along with ten others – during a World Poetry Day competition, so imagine my surprise when I picked it up and realised that I’ve met Miles Salter, albeit briefly. As well as being a poet himself and an editor of this anthology, he also organises York Literature Festival, which I was lucky enough to experience back in 2016.
This anthology is all about celebrating Yorkshire in words, and it does a great job of it. A fantastic read.
