I’m not usually a fan of books like this where the book itself is a gimmick, but I was pleasantly surprised by this one. It was given to me by a colleague (shout out to Fran at Wycombe Arts Centre) as a Christmas present, and I’d already heard quite a bit about it from BookTube and so I was looking forward to getting stuck in.

I ended up using it as an excuse to film a new video series for my YouTube channel, even though it’s been done before. I was pleasantly surprised by how effective it was for tackling my anxiety, even though I had heard  that it was good for it. I don’t know, sometimes stuff like this ends up being more stressful than relaxing, but that wasn’t the case here.

Basically, it was a lot of fun to tackle all of the different challenges, and it’s definitely something that I’d recommend doing if you’ve been thinking about it. I can also attest to the fact that it makes for an excellent gift, and indeed it’s probably one of the best presents that I got this Christmas. That might not be saying much though, because I think there’s a load waiting at my mum’s.
