This is the second book in the Lucky Starr series that Asimov originally wrote under a pseudonym, and I actually think it’s some of his finest work.
And this is one of the finest amongst the finery, a cracking story in which David Starr goes after the pirates who killed his parents. What I particularly like about these stories is the way in which they combine action and adventure with thriller and mystery.
Pirates of the Asteroids is one of the best books I’ve read so far this year, and I loved the science behind it and the way that Lucky was able to turn science into a weapon to take on the pirates. It’s definitely worth tracking it down.
