George Orwell – Animal Farm
There’s not much that I can say on this that hasn’t been said before. It’s just a mind-blowing book, and one which will change the way that you look at the world – I suspect that was Orwell’s intentions.
Animal Farm is also easily accessible to pretty much all ages, because you can read it at any level. For that reason, I’d recommend reading this before you read 1984, although I also think you should read both of them.
