The Fade Out is a gorgeous little graphic novel set in Hollywood in 1948. It’s got noir feels, follows a writer, looks beautiful and has dialogue that fits in with the time it’s set in. I was given my copy as a comic exchange and they picked it out because they thought I might like it. And they were right, too.
I’m not a huge graphic novel aficionado, but I like to read a dozen or so each year, if not more. I’m glad that this was one of the dozen I got to.
