Here we have yet another cracking play from Arthur Miller, and this one was his first to be a commercial success. Until then, he’d been better known as a novelist.
It’s a fascinating story, and one which is based on reality. It follows a guy who knowingly provided faulty aircraft parts to the US military during the Second World War, with a resulting loss of life.
