This book is a weird one to write about because I guess technically I didn’t actually read it. I didn’t need to, because all of the stories here have also been published elsewhere. The issue that I have is that I can’t seem to figure out exactly where they were published, but I definitely remembered reading them, and to the point at which I couldn’t really re-read them because I already knew what was going to happen.
More interesting to me is to write a meta review, where I look at my reviewing process. There’s a dilemma of how to rate and review books like these, but there doesn’t seem to be much point in me re-reading them, apart from the occasional flick back here and there to relive a few of my highlights. It doesn’t really count as something that I’ve “read” this month, but it definitely counts as something that I’ve ticked off, and that’s good enough for me.
I will say that the stories were pretty good and so it is definitely worth reading, you’ll just want to do some research beforehand to make sure that you’re not re-reading stuff that you’ve already read. I’m so confused by all of this, I swear.
