I got myself a signed copy of Poetica at the Second City Signingserotic poetry, what’s not to love? I don’t really read much erotica, but I was pleasantly surprised with the poems – they were in free verse, which is good because I hate traditional, rhyming poetry.

However, I also spotted a couple of typos, and the author used the word ‘nub‘ way too many times – possibly the least sexy word I’ve ever heard. But for what it was, it was worth the money I paid for it – you decide.

Disclaimer: While I aim to be unbiased, I received a copy of this for free to review.

There were a few spelling mistakes here, and I’m not a huge fan of rhyming poetry, but this book was pretty good for what it was. Worth reading, if you enjoy reading contemporary poems.
