This was great, a little Vintage mini with some of Murakami’s short stories in it. It acts as a great way to get into Murakami’s stuff, and I’m saying that as someone who’s now read maybe three or four of his works. It’s actually given me the buzz and made me want to pick up some more of his stuff, so I’ll probably get to that soon.
What’s cool about the “desire” theme is that it has multiple meanings and that it doesn’t just focus on sexual desire. For example, hunger and the desire for food is also prominent. And of course, Murakami’s writing is always great.
