This book was lots of fun because Graham Greene is one of my favourite authors but I’ve been running out of his books. This one is a play, and it takes its title from the fact that a family lives in a house where they board up the bedrooms when people die.

This novella length story follows the goings on at a memorial service for a man who was once a masseuse to the stars. It reminded me of a gay take on Graham Greene and his writings on religion and the Catholic Church. All in all, there was a lot to love.
